Juliet Roberts
Juliet Roberts (* 6. May 1962 in London ) is a British pop-jazz - and soul - singer and arranger with grenadinischen roots.
life and work
Julie Roberts began recording in 1980 and had her first top 10 hit in 1983 with the single It's Over (with The Funk Masters). In July 1983 she released the single Fool For You with the back It's Been a Long Long Time on Bluebird Records , with which she reached number 77 on the Gallup charts in August 1983 .
Her debut as a regular singer with the group Working Week was 1984 Working Nights, which came out in April 1985. In 1986 the third album Companeros was released ; the second of three with Juliet Roberts. The last album with her was released in 1987. Then she continued with a solo program. In 1990 she released the studio album Move to This with Cathy Dennis .
Robert's first dance music jam sessions appeared in 1993, with the hit single I Want You, which reached number 1 in the US dance charts and 44 on the US Billboard - Hot 100 and with the house music title Caught in the Middle. She also became popular as a singing teacher on British television, and has also enjoyed success as a sought-after background singer. Since 1997 she has had three top 20 hits: So Good, Bad Girls and Needin 'U II.
