David Morales (2001)

David Morales (born August 21, 1961 in Brooklyn , New York ) is an American house musician of Puerto Rican descent and was at times one of the highest-paid DJs in the world.

biography

The trained chef worked as a DJ and producer a. a. with Janet Jackson , Tina Turner , Whitney Houston , Jamiroquai , Mariah Carey and the Backstreet Boys . Morales was nominated three times for a Grammy and won the 1998 Remixer of the Year award. He was also awarded the Dance Star Award for "Best Artist". Morales worked for various labels , including Mercury (until 1993) and the associated sub-label Manifesto (until 1998) as well as Ultra (until 2012) and Def Mix Music (since 2014).

On October 7, 2018 Morales was after his flight from Hong Kong out on the Fukuoka Airport in Japan for possession of drugs ( MDMA arrested) by the security authorities.
