Julius Emil Braun (born August 11, 1808 ? † December 19, 1874 in Erbisdorf ) was a German manor owner and conservative politician .

The son of the hereditary judge and feudal judge Gottlob Fürchtegott Braun in Pfaffroda acquired a ten-hoofed estate in Erbisdorf in 1840 , which he bought from Carl Friedrich August von Burgk on Burgk for 26,000 thalers. From 1855 he also owned the manor in neighboring Niederlangenau , where he also held the office of justice of the peace from 1856 to 1870 .

He was a member of the Saxon state parliament in 1849/50 as a representative of the 57th constituency in the second chamber. From 1854 to 1859 he was a member of the 13th rural constituency and then left the state parliament. From 1863 to 1868 he was a deputy member of the manor owners of the Erzgebirge district and, following the electoral reform of 1868 in the 14th rural constituency, he was given the mandate for the state parliament from 1869/70 . From its founding in 1865 until his death, he was a full member of the administrative board of the Agricultural Credit Association in the Kingdom of Saxony ; from 1867 he held the office of deputy chairman. From 1872 until his death he was an elected member of the state culture council.
