Julius Hermann Besser
Julius Hermann Besser (born July 17, 1807 in Zeitz ; † December 25, 1895 in Dresden ) was a German administrative officer and parliamentarian.
Life
Julius Hermann Besser studied law at the Universities of Halle and Leipzig . In 1827 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Halle . In 1828 he joined the Corps Saxonia Leipzig . After completing his studies, he entered the Prussian civil service and was a government trainee in Merseburg . In 1838 he passed the government assessor exam. Initially working for the regional council in Münster , he was transferred to the government in Poznan in 1840 . In 1849 he took over the provisional administration of the Birnbaum district office and was appointed a councilor. In 1850 he was appointed to the government college in Poznan . In 1860 he switched to the government in Potsdam . In 1879 he retired.
In 1850, Besser was a member of the Volkshaus of the Erfurt Union Parliament . He was a member of the 9th constituency of the Posen Province (Birnbaum, Meseritz) and belonged to the station party faction.
