Julius Kovazh

Julius Kovazh (born July 6, 1930 - December 2, 2012 ) was an Austrian national soccer player .

Career

Julius Kovazh rose with the SC Olympia 33 from the Viennese regional league to the A-league , where the hard-working player was able to draw attention to his striker qualities. With the Olympics he managed to stay up in the 1957/58 season, he himself scored the only goal in the sensational victory against Austria . On October 13, 1957, Julius Kovazh was called up to the national team , he was finally substituted in the 70th minute for Adi Knoll in a 2-2 draw against Czechoslovakia .

In 1958 Julius Kovazh moved within the A-League to Kremser SC , where he ran up against Ernst Bokon's side in the storm. The striker played with the Lower Austrians for two years in the top league before the unfortunate relegation against FC Dornbirn in 1913 came in 1959/60 . Julius Kovazh moved back to Vienna and went to the Regionalliga Ost for FC Stadlau . He had scored a total of 16 goals in 57 A-League games.
