Jun Ji-hyun (* thirtieth October 1981 as Wang Ji-hyun in Seoul , South Korea ) internationally under the name Gianna June occurring, is a South Korean actress and model and one of the most popular stars in South Korea.
Life
Jun studied theater and film at Dongguk University. She started modeling in 1997, starred in a few sitcoms, her film debut was White Valentine (1999). This was followed by Il Mare (2000), who was successful with landscape shots of Ganghwado .
Her big breakthrough was the romantic comedy My Sassy Girl (2001) by Kwak Jae-yong . For her role, she was twice awarded the Daejong Film Prize for best and most popular South Korean actress. Also Windstruck 2004 was among Kwaks Director.
On April 13, 2012, she married her boyfriend Choi Jun-hyuk. She gave birth to a son on February 10, 2016.
