action

The North Korean agent Jongsŏng has lived in Berlin for years. A weapons deal with a Russian dealer and an Arab terrorist leads to a shootout with the Mossad and the South Korean secret service. Jongsŏng escapes, however. However, from now on he is being pursued by the South Korean secret agent Jin-su. He tries to solve the case and find out whether Jongsŏng is a double agent.

The leadership in Pyongyang has meanwhile decided to send agent Dong Myŏngsu to Berlin to track down possible defectors in the North Korean embassy. Jongsŏng's wife Ryŏn Jŏnghŭi also works there. The trail of the defector leads to his wife.

When North Korean agents are assigned to the couple, the two flee. His wife falls into the hands of Myŏngsu while Jongsŏng is caught by the South Korean agent Jin-su. Jongsŏng then overflows and they both try to free Jongsŏng's wife together. Jongsŏng had previously explained to the South Korean agent that it was all a plot by Dong Myŏngsu to take over the leadership in Berlin. The evidence against his wife was falsified. When they try to free Jŏnghŭi together, there is a shooting in which the Arab terrorists and Myŏngsu die, but Jongsŏng's pregnant wife also dies from her injuries.
