Jun Kimura (born May 26, 1991 ) is a Japanese athlete who specializes in sprinting .

Athletic career

Jun Kimura gained his first international experience at the Junior World Championships 2010 in Moncton , Canada , where he was eliminated in the 200-meter run with 21.53 s in the semifinals and with the Japanese 4 x 100 meter relay in 39.89 s Came fourth. He was also fifth in the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 07.94 min. In 2013, he won the silver medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the Summer Universiade in Kazan . While he was eliminated in the semi-finals in the individual competition over 400 meters, he finished fourth with the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 06.58 min.
