Jung Hyo-jung (born January 26, 1984 ) is a former South Korean sword fencer .
successes
Jung Hyo-jung achieved her international success mainly in team competitions. At the Asian Championships she won the title with the team in Doha in 2009 and Tokyo in 2019 , but also in the singles in Seoul in 2010 . In addition, she secured two silver and two bronze medals. At the Asian Games in Doha in 2006 , she won silver with the team, and bronze in Guangzhou in 2010 . In 2010 she also achieved bronze at the 2010 World Championships in Paris . Jung participated in two Olympic Games in part: in 2008 in Beijing , she took 14th place in singles. At the 2012 Olympic Games in London , she reached 19th place in the singles, with the team she won silver. In the final, the South Korean team lost to China by 25:39.
