Johnior "Junior" Sylvestre (* 27. December 1991 ) is a former American American football - and Canadian football poker players. He played in the position of linebacker .

Career

Sylvestre played college football at the University of Toledo for the Toledo Rockets from 2011 to 2014 . As a freshman, he saw stakes in all 13 games in which he put 19 tackles and won a fumble . In 2012 he played in all 13 games, in five of them as a starter, where he was able to set 49 tackles. As a junior, he was able to set 119 tackles and also score five sacks . He also captured three fumble, two of which he carried back to a touchdown . He was elected to the first team All- MAC for his achievements . In his senior year he scored 100 tackles and was again elected to the first-team All-MAC.

After Sylvestre was not selected in the 2015 NFL Draft , the Indianapolis Colts signed him from the National Football League (NFL). After an ankle injury in the final preseason game , he was placed on the Injured Reserve List by the Colts . He was released on August 28, 2016.

On April 7, 2017, Sylvestre was signed by the Buffalo Bills . He was released on May 15, 2017.

On August 12, 2017, the Miami Dolphins signed Sylvestre. On September 2, 2017, he was dismissed as part of the final squad reduction.

At the end of February 2018, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats from the Canadian Football League announced the signing of Sylvestre. On May 27, 2018, the Tiger-Cats announced Sylvestre's withdrawal from professional sport.
