2018 Junior World Rowing Championships

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2018 Junior World Championships in rowing took place from August 8 to 12, 2018 in Račice u Štětí in the Czech Republic . The competitions were held on the Račice rowing channel .

14 competitions were held at the championships, seven each for boys and girls. Compared to the world championships held in previous years, the program has been revised so that for the first time the same number of competitions were held for boys and girls. The changes have been made as part of the restructuring of the Olympic rowing competitions from 2020.

One team per competition class from all member associations of the World Rowing Association was eligible to participate . A qualification regatta did not exist.
