action

In Japan, the US military once stationed together with the young Japanese scientist Dr. Nakada carried out secret medical experiments on cadavers without notifying the army leadership. Years later the project was abandoned, Dr. Nakada released and the research facility closed. In fact, however, the experiments were carried out on their own by some initiates elsewhere. The location of the secret facility was an abandoned and hermetically secured factory site. In one of the dangerous experiments, a deceased person, Kyōko, is injected with the new serum " DNX ". After a moment, the awakening Zombie mutated test subjects suddenly to life, and it comes to a serious incident. The aggressive and bloodthirsty undead kills the scientists present, who transform themselves into meat-hungry living dead within a few seconds.

The military has been warned, however, and the officer in charge, Sergent Davis, asks Dr. Nakada for help. Nakada has been working as a practicing doctor at a hospital since the tests were discontinued. The doctor fears a catastrophe of unimagined proportions if the building complex is not destroyed immediately, as an unknown number of corpses stored in the building poses a potential risk. He therefore activates the safety system of the test facility to remotely initiate the destruction mode. However, the process is abruptly stopped with a strange message, so the research facility cannot be blown up as planned. In order to investigate the incident and activate the safety mechanism from within, a military task force is formed and dispatched to the abandoned factory. The team, which consists of only one soldier, is also joined by Dr. Nakada suggests that personal motives lead to action. He also suspects his wife Kyōko, who died in a car accident, in the building complex.

Meanwhile, three gangsters manage to rob a jewelry store and escape together with their driver, the nurse Saki and jewelry worth over 100 million yen. Jun, the leader of the quartet, plans to sell the loot to the dubious and graying yakuza thief Ramon. The underworld size chooses the vacant, remote factory building as the transshipment point for illegal business. The jewel thieves are the first to come to the aforementioned meeting point, which somehow seems misanthropic to them. A little later they are attacked by the zombies. Jun, the leader is killed and "zombified". With the arrival of the shrewd felon Ramon, these attacks continue with undiminished severity. At first, the Yakuzas do not notice the murderous beasts, they now reveal themselves as unscrupulous criminals and kill a jewel thief in order to usurp the valuable booty. Saki and the blond-colored Akira stay alive, but flee aimlessly from the members of the criminal organization and from the ubiquitous creatures. Wild firefights ensue between the warring parties, while the bloodthirsty monsters strongly decimate the ranks of the gangsters. In a shootout, the corpses laid out in a hall are also contaminated with the resuscitation serum, so that the number of zombies changes worryingly. The whole area is literally overrun by the zombies. During this phase, the courageous Saki and her remaining partner try to get the jewelry back from the late Ramon, which she succeeds. Nevertheless, the two are separated. Akira is convinced of the death of his companion and escapes from the scene, while Saki is injured and harassed by the undead.

At this moment the arrived Dr. Nakada the young woman's life, while the well-armed elite soldier activates the countdown to self-destruction. However, out of inattention, he becomes a victim of the intelligent first-time infected Kyōko and Dr. Nakada feels compelled to prevent the zombies from spreading. In the control room he discovers his resurrected faded Kyōko, who shows human features, so that he unfortunately underestimates her. He is finally beheaded by his wife. Saki now fights self-sacrificingly with the help of the arriving Akira the zombie beauty. The two survivors succeed in dividing Kyōkos body and finally defeating them after further fighting. Then the self-destruct mechanism is activated and the research station is destroyed. At the end of the film, the two travel together with the booty and Saki's dream car into an uncertain future. Meanwhile, the military is secretly planning to restart the test, while signs of life from the undead are still present on the destroyed area.
