Yuri Alexandrovich Kharchenko ( Russian Юрий Александрович Харченко * 11. October 1963 in Roschtschino , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a former Soviet luger .

Kharchenko competed in the single-seater. At his first Winter Olympics in Sarajevo in 1984 , he reached seventh place. Four years later, at the Winter Games in Calgary , he won the bronze medal. He also reached third place at the 1989 Luge World Championships in the team competition. The 1987/88 season was able to finish Chartschenko in second place. In the course of his career he also won five national championship titles (1983, 1985–1987, 1990) and two world cup races.

After the end of his active career, Kharchenko worked as a communications engineer .
