Yuri Alexandrowitsch Sevidow ( Russian Юрий Александрович Севидов ; born August 24, 1942 in Moscow , † February 11, 2010 in Marbella , Spain ) was a Soviet football player and Russian sports commentator .

biography

Sewidow was the son of the well-known football coach Alexander Sewidow . At the age of 17 he became a player for Spartak Moscow in 1959 and was with the club 1962 Soviet football champions and 1963 cup winner with a 2-0 win against Shakhtar Donetsk . In the 1962 season he was voted best goalscorer by the daily " Trud " . In 146 games for Spartak Moscow, he scored a total of 71 goals.

In 1964 he was appointed to the national team of the Soviet Union to qualify for the football tournament at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo .
