Yuri Alexandrowitsch Zizinow ( Russian Юрий Александрович Цицинов ; born August 24, 1937 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ; † August 18, 1994 ) was a Soviet - Russian ice hockey player who was active for Krylja Sowetow Moscow in Class A for many years and was Soviet in 1957 Master became. With the Soviet national team , he won the bronze medal at the 1960 Winter Olympics .
Career
Yuri Zizinow began his career in 1956 with Krylya Sowetow Moscow and won the Soviet championship with Krylya at the end of his first season . In 1958 he was the Soviet runner-up with Krylja, where he usually played in a row with Yevgeny Groschew . In 1965 he moved within the league to Lokomotiv Moscow , before returning to Krylya Sowetov for a final season in 1967. Overall, he scored 120 goals in 370 games in the Klass A .
On November 24, 1959, he was in a game against Sweden for the first time for the Soviet national team on the ice. His international career was crowned with a bronze medal at the 1960 Winter Olympics . For the national team, he scored 10 goals in 11 international matches. On February 28, 1960, he played his last international match.
In 1991 he was named the Honored Master of Sports of the USSR .
