Yuri Wladimirowitsch Andronow ( Russian Юрий Владимирович Андронов , English transcription Yuriy Andronov ; born November 6, 1971 in Kuibyshev ) is a Russian walker .

Career

In walking 50 km he was disqualified at the 2002 European Athletics Championships in Munich . On May 1, 2004, he was third at the 21st Walker World Cup in Naumburg . At the 2004 Olympics in Athens, he finished ninth, and at the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg , he won bronze. In the same year he was also third at the 22nd Walker World Cup in La Coruña .
