Justin Light

Justin Leicht (born February 1, 1913 in Muckhof , Bohemia ; † November 30, 1996 in Fürth ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Career

After graduating from high school, Leicht studied at the German Technical University in Prague in the Agriculture Department in Tetschen-Liebwerd . Then he performed his military service in the Czech army. He ran his parents' farm in Muckhof, which he took over in 1942. In the Second World War he was a soldier, after the war he was resettled to Bavaria. In 1947 he was employed in the Bavarian civil service, he worked in the agricultural offices of Fürth, Schweinfurt and Ansbach . In 1950 he passed the state examination for the higher agricultural civil service, in 1959 he was appointed head of the Agricultural Office in Roth. In 1960 Leicht moved to the Fürth city council for the first time, where he became deputy parliamentary group chairman in 1963. From 1966 to 1978 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
