Fir cones under the back (original title: Käpy selän alla ) is a Finnish black and white film by Mikko Niskanen from 1966. The screenplay was written by Robert Alfthan and Marja-Leena Mikkola . The main roles are cast with Eero Melasniemi , Kristiina Halkola , Pekka Autiovuori and Kirsti Wallasvaara . The work was first released in Finland on October 21, 1966, and in the Federal Republic of Germany the following year on August 18.

Four young people go camping on a Finnish lake. At first everything looks like an insignificant holiday report, but you gradually realize that the film aims to depict a study of the sexual behavior of the two girls and the two young men. One of them wanders back and forth between the two friends and is also fascinated by a film actress who lives nearby. The other one watches the goings-on from a distance, marking a kind of court jester this round.
