Kate Hoge

Käte Hoge (born February 25, 1904 in Marienwerder / West Prussia , † May 17, 1984 in Weste ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Hoge attended school in Erfurt up to the upper lyceum . She worked from 1925 to 1930 as a private teacher, also at the Lyceum in Neuruppin and at a school in Wittenberge . After their marriage, she lived in Mannheim , Pirmasens and Neuruppin . From 1938 to 1944 she worked as a teacher in Beeskow , Busko and Kielce , from where she fled in 1944. After the end of the Second World War, she found employment in the school service of the city and district of Uelzen in 1946 .

Since 1949 Käte Hoge was a member of the district council. From May 6, 1951 to May 5, 1955, she became a member of the Lower Saxony State Parliament (2nd electoral period) .
