Kåre Walberg (born July 3, 1912 in Hamar , Hedmark , † February 29, 1988 ibid) was a Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

Walberg made his international debut at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberhof in 1931 , where he came in 5th. He won the jumping at Holmenkollen in Oslo in 1932 and the bronze medal at the Norwegian Championships in 1933 behind Einstein Raabe and Reidar Andersen . Shortly afterwards, he won the bronze medal in special jumping at the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid , which were also world championships. He finished fourth at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen .
