The Kühberg is a 611 m high, heavily forested granite mountain in the Selb-Wunsiedler plateau in the Fichtel Mountains (northeast Bavaria).
It is located 1.5 km southwest of the town of Marktleuthen in the Wunsiedel district in the Fichtel Mountains . To the west, the Eger flows around the mountain in a wide arc and forms a breakthrough valley (Eger breakthrough) with mighty granite blocks in the creek bed between Kühberg and Lindenberg. On the northern slope of the Kühberg there are granite rocks with mattresses, which are popularly known as the Kleiner Hirschsprung. The mountain is first mentioned in a document in the land register of the six offices from 1499.
