Kiekko-Vantaa is a Finnish ice hockey club from Vantaa , which was founded in 1994 and plays in the Mestis . The team plays its home games in the 2004-seat Valtti-areena .
history
The association was formed in 1994 from the merger of Vantaan Kiekko and Vantaa HT . In the 1999/2000 season, Suomi-sarja was runner - up and was promoted to the second highest Finnish division, the Mestis. The greatest success of the team is the runner-up in the 2003/04 season. In 2013, the team was only able to secure relegation through a success in the playout round against HC Keski-Uusimaa .
