HF 160 D in Austria
At the ÖBB , the locomotives were run as the 699 series. The 699.1 series was created by converting it to tank locomotives . The 699 series locomotives were used on several ÖBB narrow-gauge lines. They were on the Bregenzerwaldbahn which Pinzgaubahn , the Waldviertler narrow-gauge railways , the Vellachtalbahn and Steyrtalbahn found. Six machines were eliminated by 1973, the 699.103 belonged to the operating stock of the Steyrtalbahn until it was discontinued in 1982.
