The steam locomotive "BALTIMORE" was a passenger locomotive of the KFNB . It was delivered to KFNB in 1841 by Baldwin, Vail & Hufty in Philadelphia with the axis formula 2A. Except for the cylinder dimensions, the machine corresponded to the standard type built by Baldwin, Vail & Hufty at that time. The cylinder dimensions resulted from conscious or unconscious misinformation regarding the boiler pressure permitted by law in Austria . These changed cylinder dimensions resulted in a reduced performance of the machine, so that the KFNB was not satisfied with it. In contrast to all the locomotives previously delivered to the KFNB, the “BALTIMORE” already had a frame made entirely of iron.

The "BALTIMORE" was retired in 1861 .
