KW-Software was a technology provider for industrial control, security and network technology and was one of the world's leading providers of software in accordance with IEC 61131 and IEC 61508. The company's headquarters are in the Centrum Industrial IT (CIIT) in Lemgo , a research and development center for intelligent automation. Further locations are in Japan, China and the USA. KW-Software is an independent company in the Phoenix Contact Group until the end of 2014 and will operate as Phoenix Contact Software GmbH from January 1, 2015.
