Cabin sex
As Kabinensex refers to a form of female prostitution in Vienna and other Austrian cities, where special venues as an alternative to conventional in recent years, brothels have been established that are designed for fast and priced low set prostitution.

In Vienna, as elsewhere, prostitution is carried out in particular in brothels , on the street prostitution and in private apartments (so-called model apartments). However, compared to other large cities, there is no established red light district . In Vienna, prostitution takes place in rather “small concentrations” spread across the city. As an alternative to conventional brothels, cabin sex venues have been set up and opened in recent years in which prostitution is marketed as a "low-price offer". The situation in other Austrian cities is similar.
In contrast to conventional brothels, in cabin sex bars there are neither waiting staff nor a bar service. From an anteroom, several doors usually lead into small cubicles, which in the simplest case consist of a “room within a room” made of pressboard . In the respective front wall there is a cut-out hole at genital level, which is reminiscent of so-called glory holes . At face level, a recess allows a view of a television in which porn films are shown.
The anonymity of original glory holes is reduced to the symbolic dividing wall between clients and prostitutes , between whom there is an open agreement on the price, which varies depending on the services offered and is usually between 20 and 50 €. Usually the offer is limited to manual or oral satisfaction and represents a cheaper alternative to professional services in a brothel. In 2005 the service cost from 15 €.

Cabin sex in a broader sense is sometimes used to describe the service of some peep shows that offer individual cabins in which the visitor can come into contact with dancers of the peep show separated by a pane of glass. The booth can be used for a one-on-one performance, but the partition wall is usually removed after a price agreement, with the customer going to the prostitute in the booth. In many peep shows, sexual intercourse is offered in addition to manual and oral satisfaction .
