Career

Kachaber Zakadse, the son of ski jumper Koba Zakadse , made his World Cup debut in Lahti, Finland at the end of the 1990/91 season and was 57th out of 61 jumpers. The next day he was able to improve and was 41st. A few days later he finished 51st in Bollnäs, Sweden . At the beginning of March he achieved another good result as 45th of 61 jumpers in Falun. Three days later he was Trondheim 59th After two years without a World Cup, he took part in the Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun in 1993 and was 62nd on the large hill and 63rd on the normal hill. At the end of March he was 67th and penultimate in Planica (Slovenia). In 1994 he took part in the Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer and was 55th on the large hill and 50th on the normal hill. In the same year he also took part in the Ski Flying World Championships in Planica and reached 39th place. Since the Ski Flying World Championships were still part of the World Cup at that time , this was also his best World Cup competition. During the next few years he started regularly in the Continental Cup , with the 1996/97 season being the most successful for him with an 84th place overall. In 1998 he took part in the Olympic Winter Games in Nagano and was 55th on the normal hill and 59th on the large hill. In November 1999 he took part in a World Cup competition in Kuopio , which was held without qualification due to the weather conditions. There he finished 79th and last place. After he had successfully participated in several Continental Cups in the 2001/02 season and was 46th on the normal hill and 50th on the large hill in qualification at the Olympic Winter Games , he ended his career.
