Kadir İnanır (born April 15, 1949 in Fatsa , Ordu ) is a Turkish actor .

After his first acting experiences as a photo novel actor, he starred in his first film "Son Yedi Adım Sonra" (After the Last Seven Steps) in 1968. This entry was followed by leading roles in Turkish cinema and television .

Kadir İnanır portrayed various roles and characters in his acting career. He played in comedies, love films, but also in some Mafia films in the 1980s. Among his greatest successes are the films “Selvi Boylum, Al Yazmalım” and “Devlerin Aşkı” (Love of the Giants) with Türkân Şoray at his side. In 2003, after 24 years, the two stood together again in front of the camera for the film project Gönderilmemiş Mektuplar as a so-called dream couple .

In April 2013 İnanır was appointed by the then Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to a commission called the “Council of Wise Men” , which was supposed to accompany the peaceful end to the conflict with the Kurdish PKK in civil society , but ultimately remained quite ineffective.

İnanır 2016 receives the honorary award at the Turkey / Germany film festival .
