Kai Dominik Koitka (born September 30, 1981 in Hamburg ) is a German football player on the position of midfielder . He is the son of the former Bundesliga keeper Heinz-Josef Koitka , who was among other things SG Wattenscheid 09 active.

Career

Kai Koitka played from 2003 to 2006 for the third division SG Wattenscheid 09 (where he appeared in 39 games scored six goals) before the 2006/07 season for MSV Duisburg moved. He played his first professional game for the zebras on the 17th matchday of the 2006/07 season, when he was substituted on in the 85th minute of the Duisburg game against Rot-Weiss Essen . For the 2007/08 season Koitka moved to the regional league club Eintracht Braunschweig , where he had received a contract until the end of June 2009.

After Koitka was transferred to the second team of Eintracht Braunschweig in early 2008, but was planned there in the 2008/09 season without him, he dissolved his contract with Eintracht Braunschweig on August 21, 2008 and moved to the regional division BV Cloppenburg . After a year with Lower Saxony, he moved to FC Vaduz in summer 2009 .

In summer 2010 he joined KSV Hessen Kassel . Despite a valid contract, he was excluded from the first team squad at the beginning of the 2011/12 season.

For the second half of the 2011/12 season Koitka moved back as a stand-by player to SG Wattenscheid 09 in the Oberliga Westfalen. With SG 09 he rose to the Regionalliga West at the end of the 2012/13 season . In addition to his position as a stand-by player , he worked as a salesman for automobiles. He has been active in the district league at FC Neuruhrort since 2014.
