Kai Lüftner (* 12. January 1975 in Berlin ) is a German children's and youth book author , musician , composer , audio book -Bearbeiter and director.

Career

Kai Lüftner initially studied social education . In the following years he worked as a street worker , social worker , construction worker, pizza driver, bouncer, concert organizer, radio editor, advertising, commissioned and songwriter, cabaret artist and solo entertainer , comedy author, composer and musician. However, he only found fulfillment with his own projects as a writer and composer for children.

In 2012 his first children's book “Die Weltbeste Lilli” was published, which was included in the children's book catalog “little big books”.

Lüftner also worked as a musician and composer. In 2014 he released his first music CD as part of his music project "ROTZ 'N' ROLL RADIO", which originally arose from the idea of ​​writing a children's song for his son. Citizens Lars Dietrich , Anna Thalbach , Tetje Mierendorf , Oliver Kalkofe , Jürgen von der Lippe , Simon Jäger , Tanja Geke and Cathlen Gawlich worked on this project .

Kai Lüftner has lived on Bornholm since 2019 .
