Kaiaf is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, about 1770 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 1773.
geography
Kaiaf is located in the Lower River Region in the Kiang East District . The small town is around 1.5 kilometers from Genieri and is located on the South Bank Road , Gambia's main highway . Soma , the division's largest city, is 9.8 kilometers east on South Bank Road.
The 26 hectare Kaiaf Forest Park lies between Genieri and Kaiaf .
