Genieri (spelling variant: Geniere ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, around 649 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 650.
geography
Genieri is located in the Lower River Region in the Kiang East District . The small town is about 1.5 kilometers from Kaiaf and is located north of the South Bank Road , Gambia's main highway . Soma , the division's largest city, is 9.8 kilometers east on South Bank Road.
The 26 hectare Kaiaf Forest Park lies between Genieri and Kaiaf . The Konowo Forest Park is three kilometers west of Genieri.
