Kaingaroa is a settlement in the Far North District of Northland on the North Island of New Zealand .
geography
The settlement is 6.5 km east of Awanui directly on New Zealand State Highway 10 , which connects the settlement with the places on the east coast and the west coast of Northland . The natural harbor Rangaunu Harbor is located around 6 km north of the settlement .
Education
With the Kaingaroa School, the settlement has a primary school with grades 1 to 8. In 2017, 115 students attended the school.
