Kaisa Alanko (born January 3, 1993 in Vaasa ) is a Finnish volleyball player .

Career

Alanko played for the Finnish first division club LP Kangasala , with whom she won the Finnish Cup in 2012 and took third place in the championship. In addition, she was voted the best young player ("Rookie of the Season"). In 2013 she became Finnish runner-up with LP Kangasala. The player then switched to the German Bundesliga club 1. VC Wiesbaden . Alanko was named “Most Valuable Player” of her team on her Bundesliga debut against Köpenicker SC . With Wiesbaden, she was third in the Bundesliga in 2014 and 2015. In 2016 she followed her former trainer Andreas Vollmer to league competitor USC Münster . After a season in Münster, she moved to SSC Palmberg Schwerin . In her first season in Schwerin she won the VBL Supercup and the championship with the team . Then she moved to France to volleyball Nantes .

Alanko has also played in the Finnish national team since 2012 .
