Kaitlyn Ashley Maher (born January 10, 2004 in Novi , Michigan ) is an American actress and singer .

Life

In 2008 Kaitlyn Maher took part in the third season of the American talent show America's Got Talent and made it into the top 10. She came from the casting round to the Las Vegas round and was allowed to go to live shows from there. The viewers voted her from the top 40 to the top 20 and from the top 20 to the top 10. The winner of the season was Neal E. Boyd .

After participating in America's Got Talent , Maher performed live many times. She sang in front of George W. Bush and his family in December 2008 and performed there with other singers.

At the end of November 2009, the Disney film Santa Buddies - In Search of Santa Paw , in which Maher lent her voice to the Yorkshire Terrier Tiny, was released. In November 2010, the next part of Santa Paws big Christmas adventure appeared , in which she plays the orphan Quinn .

Between these two films, her debut album You were meant to be was released on December 1, 2009 . On January 29, 2012, the film Treasure Buddies was released in Egypt , in which she lends her voice to the camel "Cammy". The currently final part of the successful Christmas film series, entitled Santa Paw 2 - The Christmas Puppies , was released on November 20, 2012. There she plays a girl named Sarah Reynolds.

Maher traveled to El Salvador in early 2011 as the world's first child ambassador .
