Kajetan Tomasz Broniewski (born March 6, 1963 in Zabrze ) is a former Polish rower who won the bronze medal in singles at the 1992 Olympic Games .

At the Junior World Championships in 1981 Broniewski , who started for AZS Warszawa , won the single title. In the 1982 season Broniewski drove together with Piotr Tobolski in double sculls , the two took sixth place at the world championships . From 1983 Broniewski started internationally until 1994 exclusively in the single. At world championships he finished sixth in 1983 and seventh in 1985 . In his first Olympic participation in 1988 in Seoul Broniewski reached fifth place. At the World Championships in 1989 and 1990 Broniewski was fourth before he won the bronze medal behind Thomas Lange and Václav Chalupa in Vienna in 1991 . Long before Chalupa and Broniewski, there was also the finish in the singles final of the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. After Broniewski could not qualify for the A-final at the World Championships in 1993 , he ended his career. In 1996, the 1.87 m tall Broniewski made a short comeback in double sculls. Together with Adam Korol , who was eleven years his junior , he finished thirteenth at the 1996 Olympic Games .
