Vegetative characteristics

Kalanchoe ballyi grows persistently with bare shoots and reaches heights of up to 120 centimeters. The seated leaves are oblong spatulate. Your leaf blade is up to 20 inches long and 6 inches wide. Its tip is blunt, the base wedge-shaped and half encompassing the stem. The leaf margin is whole or irregularly wavy.

Generative characteristics

The loose inflorescence reaches a length of about 12 centimeters. The upright flowers are on up to 5 millimeters long, glabrous or short glandular hairy pedicels . The flower is very sparsely glandular and downy. Your calyx tube is about 1 millimeter long. The lanceolate to oblong lanceolate calyx lobes are 3.5 to 6 millimeters long and 1 to 2 millimeters wide. The petals are coral pink to brick red, the corolla tube is 8 to 12 millimeters long. Their obovate tips have an attached tip. They have a length of 4.5 to 6.5 millimeters and are 2.5 to 3.5 millimeters wide. The upper stamens do not protrude from the flower. The elongated anthers are about 0.6 millimeters long. The linear nectar flakes are 2 to 2.5 millimeters long. The viewed from the side fruit leaf is lanceolate-linear and has a length of about 6.5 millimeters. The stylus is 0.5 to 1.5 millimeters long.
