The Kalbach is a right tributary of the Jossa in the Main-Kinzig district in the Hessian Spessart .

The Kalbach rises at an altitude of 390  m above sea level. NHN in Hatchesgrund, southeast of Pfaffenhausen .

The stream flows from the overflow of the water supply system not far from the border with Bavaria .

Then the Kalbach runs in a north-westerly direction to Pfaffenhausen, where it is in the center of the village at an altitude of 340  m above sea level. NHN flows into the Jossa from the right .

Its 1.9 km long run ends about 50 meters below its source, so it has an average bed gradient of 26 ‰.
