Kalckhoff Medal

Kalckhoff Medal is a literary prize awarded by the Association of German Philatelists for special merits in the field of German-language philatelic literature .

This prize was donated in honor of Franz Kalckhoff in 1950, on the occasion of his ninetieth birthday, and in 1951 he was the first to be awarded. On the medal itself there is a relief image of him in silver and it has a diameter of 50 millimeters. It is awarded every other year.
