Martin Kalpein (* 23. July 1977 ) is a former German Cross Country - Sommerbiathlet .

Martin Kalpein took part in the Summer Biathlon World Championships in Osrblie for the first time in 1998 and came in 13th and last place with Gerald Zielinsky , Peter Stöcker and Frank Röttgen as the last runner of the season. Another participation followed in 2003 in Forni Avoltri . In Italy, Kalpein sprinted to 37th place, finished 34th in the pursuit and reached 27th place in the mass start race. He was nationally runner- up in 2002 with the representation of Westphalia with the small- bore rifle. In 2003 Kalpein also came third behind Röttgen and Roman Böttcher in the mass start race with the small bore rifle.
