The Kaltenbaechel is a left tributary of the Andlau in the French department of Bas-Rhin in the Grand Est region .

The Kaltenbaechel rises in the Central Vosges at an altitude of 893  m in the Forêt de la Ville de Strasbourg . It flows in a south-easterly direction and joins the Andlau after 1.5 kilometers at an altitude of around 820  m in Neumelkerei .
