The Kangchenjunga Central Summit ( English Kanchenjunga Central ) is an 8473  m high secondary summit of the Kangchenjunga , the third highest mountain in the world located in the Himalayas and at 8,586  m .

It lies on the Nepalese - Indian border. The Kangchenjunga Central Summit is located on a mountain ridge between the main summit in the north and the southern summit in the south. The notch height is 33 m.

The first ascent of the summit took place in 1978 by the Poles Wojciech Brański, Andrzej Heinrich and Kazimierz Olech. In 1991 the summit was climbed for the first time without bottled oxygen.
