The canton of Cayenne-1 Nord-Ouest was a constituency in the Cayenne arrondissement in French Guiana .
The canton consisted of part of the community Cayenne and had (2007) 3,831 inhabitants. It bordered the cantons of Cayenne-3 Sud-Ouest and Cayenne-4 Center in the south-west and south-east . The border here largely followed the Avenue du Général de Gaulle . In the northeast, the canton bordered Cayenne-2 Nord-Est .
The city council of Cayenne had its seat in the western part of the canton. The town hall is in the rue de Rémire 1. The Îles du Salut, 45 km northwest, belonged to the canton .
