The canton of Reichensachsen was an administrative unit in the Eschwege district of the Werra department in the Napoleonic kingdom of Westphalia . The main place of the canton and seat of the justice of the peace was the place Reichensachsen in today's Hessian Werra-Meißner-Kreis .
The canton comprised 12 villages:
- Reichensachsen
- Vogelsburg, Hoheneiche , Oetmannshausen
- Wichmannshausen , Datterpfeife , Röhrda , Lautenbach
- Harmuthshausen , Datterode , Langenhain , Grandenborn
