Cape Brooks is a cape on the Lassiter Coast of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It limits the entrance to New Bedford Inlet to the south and the Howkins Inlet to the north . It is particularly striking due to its steep cliffs, which rise up to 465  m in height .

The cape was photographed during a flight over the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) in December 1940. Further aerial photographs were taken in 1947 during the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–1948), which mapped it in collaboration with the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS). The FIDS named the cape after the British meteorologist Charles Ernest Pelham Brooks (1888-1957), who worked for the Meteorological Office from 1907 to 1948 .
