The Karavelova Point (English; Bulgarian нос Каравелова nos Karawelowa ) is a headland in the northeast of the Varna Peninsula on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It forms 7.8 km southeast of Williams Point , 2.75 km southeast of Pomorie Point , 2.75 km northwest of Inott Point and 7.13 km northeast of Miziya Peak, the south side of the entrance to Lister Cove .
Bulgarian scientists mapped them in the course of surveying the Tangra Mountains between 2004 and 2005. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named them in 2005 after the Bulgarian translator, author and women's rights activist Ekaterina Karawelowa (1860–1947).
