Karim Ben Hassan Aouadhi (born May 2, 1986 in Mégrine ) is a Tunisian football player .
Career
Karim Aouadhi comes from Northern Tunisia and began playing football at his home club, the lower class AS Mégrine . There he drew attention to himself and was appointed to the U-21 national team. At the age of 21 he moved to the capital for Club Africain Tunis in the Tunisian first division . In its first year, the club secured its twelfth championship. But Aouadhi was then awarded to Al-Wahda Abu Dhabi in September 2008 in the United Arab Emirates . After a year he returned to Tunis and established himself there in defensive midfield. In 2010 he was runner-up with Club Africain.
In the following year gaming operations in the country were delayed due to the Jasmine Revolution . Aouadhi had played fourteen league games and four games in the African Champions League , scoring a total of five goals, then moved to German second division club Fortuna Düsseldorf before the season in Tunisia was over. He had decided against an offer from the Belgian first division club RSC Anderlecht and went to Germany, where two of his brothers were studying. However, he had problems getting used to and asserting himself against the established players in the team, especially since they played very successfully. After 15 match days, the tall Tunisian had only made a single brief assignment, in which he also owed a penalty. At the end of December 2011, at Aouadhi's request, the contract with Fortuna Düsseldorf was terminated. The Tunisian gave "major language problems" as the reason, which he could not overcome and therefore could not develop further in terms of sport.
On January 16, 2012, the reigning Tunisian champion Espérance Tunis introduced Karim Aouadhi as a new addition.
