Karin Eggers

Karin Eggers (born August 14, 1945 in Innsbruck ) is a Hamburg CDU politician.

job and education

Eggers trained as a nurse after school. After completing the exam, she worked for 35 years at the University Medical Center Eppendorf (UKE) and in the General Hospital Barmbek (AKB), and for around 15 years as a trainer for the Malteser Aid Service . Today she is retired. She made her training to become an anesthesia nurse .

She has been married since 1968 and has one son.

politics

Eggers has been the district chairwoman of the Wandsbek women's union since 1997 and chairwoman of the CDU Hamburg-Rahlstedt parliamentary group from 2001 .

She has been a member of the Hamburg Parliament since March 17, 2004 . There she works on the submission committee and the health committee. She is also a member of the Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry (PUA) closed accommodation on Feuerbergstrasse.
