Karin Milger
Karin Milger b. Jendrossek (born December 2, 1955 in Celle ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Court of Justice .
Life
After studying at the Georg-August University in Göttingen and in the USA ( LL.M. ) and completing her doctorate in Göttingen in 1981, she began a career in the higher judicial service in Lower Saxony in 1984. She worked for the Braunschweig public prosecutor, at the local courts of Braunschweig and Wolfenbüttel and at the regional court of Braunschweig . In 1989 she became a judge at the Wilhelmshaven District Court . After working in the Lower Saxony Ministry of Justice, she was appointed judge at the Oldenburg Higher Regional Court in 1996. In November 2001 she became Vice President of the Oldenburg Regional Court . There she was chairman of a large criminal chamber and a civil chamber. She is a member of the Judicial Examination Office in the Lower Saxony Ministry of Justice.
In 2006 Milger was appointed judge at the Federal Court of Justice and assigned to the 8th Civil Senate , of which she has been chairman since July 1, 2014.
