Karin Sonnenmoser

Karin Sonnenmoser (born October 8, 1969 in Biberach an der Riss ) is a German manager .

Career

After graduating from the Pestalozzi-Gymnasium in Biberach, Sonnenmoser studied business administration at the University of Augsburg from 1989 to 1994 and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Dayton , Ohio.

After completing his studies, Sonnenmoser started as a trainee at Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg in 1995 . Between 1996 and 2000, she worked in various functions in accounting and controlling for the Volkswagen and Seat brands .

In 2002, Sonnenmoser was appointed Secretary General of the CEO of the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand. From January 2005 to December 2006 she worked both as Secretary General for the CEO of the Volkswagen brand group, Wolfgang Bernhard , and for the CEO of Volkswagen AG, Bernd Pischetsrieder .

In January 2007 she moved to AutoVision GmbH as managing director. Her areas of responsibility included the investment management of AutoVision GmbH as well as the organizational units process management , corporate development and finance & legal. In August 2009 Karin Sonnenmoser took over the CEO position of AutoVision GmbH.

From December 1, 2010 to April 2014, Karin Sonnenmoser was Managing Director of Finance and Controlling at Volkswagen Sachsen GmbH , Volkswagen Sachsen Immobilien Verwaltungs GmbH, Automobil Manufaktur Dresden GmbH (“ Transparent Factory ”) and Volkswagen Bildungsinstitut GmbH in Zwickau.

From May 1, 2014, she was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Zumtobel AG and also on the Vivantes Supervisory Board . She should leave Zumtobel AG at the end of June 2018.

She has been the Chief Financial Officer of Ceconomy AG since March 1, 2019 .
